2017 Coats for Kids collection dates:  November 11- December 3, 2017
 

The annual Coats for Kids Campaign enters its 17th season this year with over 55,000 winter coats distributed since 2000!

  1. Donate a new or gently used winter weight coat at any Peerless Cleaner, Kroger, and Penn Station locations or at Adams Radio, 2000 Lower Huntington Road.  Click here for a list of drop off locations.
  2. Make a financial donation to help purchase new coats!

$25 will provide a new winter coat, hat, scarf and mittens for a child. Secure online donations can be made by clicking on the DONATE button.
 
Coats will be delivered to schools and social service agencies by Fort Wayne Firefighters, and YMCA employees prior to the Holiday break the week of December 18. Program partners are Volunteer Center, Peerless Cleaners, Kroger, Adams Radio Group, Fort Wayne Fire Department, Wells Fargo, Berne Apparel, Parkview Orthopedic Hospital and St. Vincent DePaul Society. We rely on your donations of winter coats, monetary donations or your service of time and talent to make this program a success every year!
 
If you are a family in need of a coat for your child:
Please contact you school case manager or counselor and ask them to make a referral to Coats for Kids.
